As the season comes along, the racing team of Sangers-Ung starts to perform at a constant level. On the season opening from Tongeren (160 km) against 1,936 b. the squad won 3^rd-6^th-7^th-18^th-20^th-25^th-28^th-etc … the last 2 weeks this good performance was given a suitable continuation … In club 2x 1. prize in a row was won:
1^st-6^th-7^th-8^th-9^th-10^th Feluy (229 km) – 306 b.
1^st-4^th-5^th-6^th-9^th-10^th Reims (360 km) – 286 b.

In Fed. the performances were:
3^rd-21^st-22^nd-23^rd-24^th-25^th Feluy against 2,241 b.
5^th-22^nd-23^rd-24^th-35^th-36^th Reims against 1,826 b.

Reims was the first middle distance race of the season and May 31st the first long distance race is at stake. From that moment Marcel will split the team; especially the older pigeons shall be send to the long distance races and yearlings shall first be send to short and middle distance.
