1st and 3rd Soissons 1,743 b.

Winning 1st and 3rd prize on the middle distance race from Soissons against over 1,700 b. underlined the strong series of results Marcel Sangers is in. Promising with the NPO classics coming up.

A win in big competition was not really unexpected considering the results of the last weeks; as far as winning can be expected in pigeon sport. The results of the last weeks are

May 7th Quievrain 263 km
2nd-10th-17th-27th against 1,378 b.
May 14th Laon 338 km
5th-6th-7th-etc. against 377 b.
May 21st Soissons 364 km
1st-3rd-9th-21st-22nd etc. against 1,743 b.

The winner in Fed. was the yearling hen NL15-1421103 Lily. “A very nice hen with a beautiful eye,” says Marcel. And a hen with strong genes. Father is Hayabusa Son, a direct son to the amazing Hayabusa King, winner of 6x 1st prize in big competition. Mother is Gone Wild, original Alwin Petrie from his super hen Gigi the winner 2x 1st prize in a NPO middle distance race and Dutch representative at the Europa Cup.

Directly after Lily NL14-1662709 Favorite came to win 3rd place from 1,733 b. This blue cock is clocked amongst the first Sangers pigeons often in 2015 and 2016. Hij is cross Sangers x Daan Besseling.
